Summer Horse Camp for Girls based in the Adirondack Mountains
Our creative summer equestrian riding camp program provides extensive riding and lesson time. Days are filled with horse activities geared toward developing riders into accomplished horsewomen.
Lake Placid Academy teaches you the responsibilities of managing the daily care of your horse. Riding lessons by top professional instructors will develop balance and coordination. Mastering control over a 1,000 pound animal will definitely improve self confidence. The daily responsibility of chores will teach you the skills needed to care and manage your own horse.
Instructions are given in all areas of western and English horsemanship including: reigning, trail, pole bending, jumping, cross country, and even learning how to drive a pony and cart.

Exclusive all girls (ages 7 to 17 yrs.) equestrian camp nestled in the 6 million acre Adirondack Park. Groom, Feed, and Ride the same horse your entire stay. Instruction in Flat, Equitation, Dressage, Jumping, Cross-Country. Western lessons also offered: games, rodeo, reining and trail. Enjoy overnight trail rides, white water rafting, theme parks and the great outdoors. Offers 2 to 8 week overnight programs.

The Ranch introduces campers of all abilities to the challenges and responsibilities of taking care of horses. Take time to bond and really get to understand each other in an environment that offers safety, fun and adventure for horse-minded women! This is a one-week program for mothers and daughters (ages 7 to 12 yrs).
The Ranch Camp - Teen Travel
CATTLE DRIVES, SWIMMING WITH HORSES, RIDING THROUGH SAND DUNES...
Imagine two weeks spent at beautiful horse ranches. This is a two week travel program (co-ed high school age). This camp is designed for the older camper who is not interested in a "routine" camp experience. Break with the pressures of a stressful life-style and return to a time of simplicity. Participants must be experienced riders. Trips are scheduled in french speaking Canadian provinces and overnight accommodations are provided at beautiful inns, ranch houses and resorts.
