Creative Riding Programs
Our creative summer equestrian riding camp program provides extensive riding and lesson time. Days are filled with horse activities geared toward developing riders into accomplished horsewomen.
Lake Placid Academy teaches you the responsibilities of managing the daily care of your horse. Riding lessons by top professional instructors will develop balance and coordination. Mastering control over a 1,000 pound animal will definitely improve self confidence. The daily responsibility of chores will teach you the skills needed to care and manage your own horse.
Instructions are given in all areas of western and English horsemanship including: reigning, trail, pole bending, jumping, cross country, and even learning how to drive a pony and cart
Teen Travel
Imagine two weeks spent at beautiful horse ranches. This is a two week travel program (co-ed high school age). This camp is designed for the older camper who is not interested in a "routine" camp experience.
