Experience our Teen Travel Camp

Sample Image

Come join us on our teenage travel camp to various dude ranches in the eastern townships of Quebec province in Canada. Enjoy a ride through streams and mountainous trails on Canadian draft horses. Swim with your horse in an unforgettable experience in a lake. Take part in an all-day horse ride into a quaint small French town where we tie up the horses and have bison-burgers at a small but beautiful restaurant. My wife, Marleen , and I drive the 15-passenger van and will be the adult supervision throughout the entire trip.

Our first stop will be a bed and breakfast 4-night and 4-day stopover where all of our meals are prepared for us. We ride in the Appalachian Mountains during the day, through rivers and streams taking different trails each day. At night, our dinner consists of sumptuous cuisine and personal service in a charming country inn. Accommodations include 5 bedrooms that are shared by our campers and they are totally air-conditioned. A picturesque porch awaits us in the cool breeze of the summer evenings both before and after our meals.

Our second stop is a 4-day and 4-night destination in a very unique and small municipality in a very French village where no English is spoken (except by our hosts and guide, Jules and Patrice). This ranch is where we eat in town, swim with the horses, stay in a private chalet all to ourselves, make our own breakfast and dinner and ride the magnificent Canadian drafts. Lunches are made and packed for us and we meet up with Patrice for our picnic lunch. One day we even travel to a fire tower back in the woods with our horses for our picnic lunch and a climb up the tower for majestic views that encompass some 40 miles. Accommodations in our chalet have 2 bedrooms upstairs that have bunk beds in them and can be shared by up to 11 campers. There are two private bathrooms and two private showers.
